You have questions. That's a good sign! It means you're taking this seriously. We've answered the ones we hear most often right here. And if yours isn't on the list, just reach out. A real person will get back to you.
We accept BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you're not sure whether your specific plan is covered, reach out and we'll check for you - that's what we're here for. We also offer a sliding scale for those who qualify.
Then you're in exactly the right place. Most of our clients come in not entirely sure what to expect. Your first session is a conversation, nothing more. You don't have to have it figured out, you don't have to know what's wrong, and you don't have to perform. You just have to show up.
We don't use an algorithm. When you reach out, a real person on our team takes time to understand what you're carrying, what kind of support helps you, and what matters to you - including your faith background, cultural identity, and any preferences around your therapist. Then we make a thoughtful recommendation. If the fit isn't right, we keep looking.
No. You are welcome here regardless of where you are in your faith journey, or whether faith is part of your life at all. Faith-integrated care is available for those who want it. It is never imposed on those who don't.
We offer in-person counseling at multiple locations throughout Chicago, including River West, Bronzeville, Lincoln Square, and Austin. Virtual counseling is also available throughout Illinois.
If you're using insurance, your cost depends on your individual plan and may be as little as a copay. We accept several major insurance plans, Medicare, and Medicaid.
For clients paying out of pocket, sessions are typically between $175-$250 per session depending on clinician, with lower-cost options available based on clinician and eligibility. Our Client Care Team can help you understand your expected cost before you schedule.
Yes. We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and many of our clients use a combination of both. Virtual therapy is available to clients throughout Illinois.
A real person on our Client Care Team reviews what you've shared and reaches out to help identify a therapist who may be a good fit. We'll talk through availability, insurance or payment options, and any preferences that matter to you before scheduling your first appointment.
Tell us. A good therapeutic relationship matters, and you won't hurt our feelings. If the match doesn't feel right, our Client Care Team can help you explore another therapist.
Yes. Our team provides individual, couples, teen, and family counseling, with clinicians who bring different areas of training and experience. When you reach out, we'll help determine which therapist is best suited to what you're looking for.
